Leviticus chapter 24

1The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2"Command the people of Israel to bring you pure oil from beaten olives for the lamp, that a light may be kept burning regularly. 3Outside the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, Aaron shall arrange it from evening to morning before the Lord regularly. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations. 4He shall arrange the lamps on the lampstand of pure gold before the Lord regularly.
5"You shall take fine flour and bake twelve loaves from it; two tenths of an ephah shall be in each loaf. 6And you shall set them in two piles, six in a pile, on the table of pure gold before the Lord. 7And you shall put pure frankincense on each pile, that it may go with the bread as a memorial portion as a food offering to the Lord. 8Every Sabbath day Aaron shall arrange it before the Lord regularly; it is from the people of Israel as a covenant forever. 9And it shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place, since it is for him a most holy portion out of the Lord 's food offerings, a perpetual due."
10Now an Israelite woman 's son, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the people of Israel. And the Israelite woman 's son and a man of Israel fought in the camp, 11and the Israelite woman 's son blasphemed the Name, and cursed. Then they brought him to Moses. His mother 's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan. 12And they put him in custody, till the will of the Lord should be clear to them.
13Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 14"Bring out of the camp the one who cursed, and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him. 15And speak to the people of Israel, saying, Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin. 16Whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him. The sojourner as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.
17"Whoever takes a human life shall surely be put to death. 18Whoever takes an animal 's life shall make it good, life for life. 19If anyone injures his neighbor, as he has done it shall be done to him, 20fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; whatever injury he has given a person shall be given to him. 21Whoever kills an animal shall make it good, and whoever kills a person shall be put to death. 22You shall have the same rule for the sojourner and for the native, for I am the Lord your God." 23So Moses spoke to the people of Israel, and they brought out of the camp the one who had cursed and stoned him with stones. Thus the people of Israel did as the Lord commanded Moses.

1The Lord said to Moses, 2"Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning continually. 3Outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law in the tent of meeting, Aaron is to tend the lamps before the Lord from evening till morning, continually. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. 4The lamps on the pure gold lampstand before the Lord must be tended continually.
5"Take the finest flour and bake twelve loaves of bread, using two-tenths of an ephah for each loaf. 6Arrange them in two stacks, six in each stack, on the table of pure gold before the Lord. 7By each stack put some pure incense as a memorial portion to represent the bread and to be a food offering presented to the Lord. 8This bread is to be set out before the Lord regularly, Sabbath after Sabbath, on behalf of the Israelites, as a lasting covenant. 9It belongs to Aaron and his sons, who are to eat it in the sanctuary area, because it is a most holy part of their perpetual share of the food offerings presented to the Lord."
10Now the son of an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father went out among the Israelites, and a fight broke out in the camp between him and an Israelite. 11The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name with a curse; so they brought him to Moses. (His mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri the Danite.) 12They put him in custody until the will of the Lord should be made clear to them.
13Then the Lord said to Moses: 14"Take the blasphemer outside the camp. All those who heard him are to lay their hands on his head, and the entire assembly is to stone him. 15Say to the Israelites: ‘Anyone who curses their God will be held responsible; 16anyone who blasphemes the name of the Lord is to be put to death. The entire assembly must stone them. Whether foreigner or native-born, when they blaspheme the Name they are to be put to death.
17" ‘Anyone who takes the life of a human being is to be put to death. 18Anyone who takes the life of someone’s animal must make restitution—life for life. 19Anyone who injures their neighbor is to be injured in the same manner: 20fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. The one who has inflicted the injury must suffer the same injury. 21Whoever kills an animal must make restitution, but whoever kills a human being is to be put to death. 22You are to have the same law for the foreigner and the native-born. I am the Lord your God.’ "
23Then Moses spoke to the Israelites, and they took the blasphemer outside the camp and stoned him. The Israelites did as the Lord commanded Moses.

10Now the son of an Israelite woman—his father was an Egyptian—went out among the sons of Israel; and the Israelite woman’s son and an Israelite man had a fight within the camp. 11And the son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name and cursed. So they brought him to Moses. (Now his mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.) 12Then they put him in custody, waiting for Moses to give them a clear decision in accordance with the command of the Lord.
13Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 14Bring the one who has cursed outside the camp, and have all who heard him lay their hands on his head; then have all the congregation stone him. 15You shall also speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘If anyone curses his God, then he will bear the responsibility for his sin. 16Moreover, the one who blasphemes the name of the Lord must be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him. The stranger as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.
17‘Now if someone takes any human life, he must be put to death. 18But the one who takes the life of an animal shall make restitution, life for life. 19If someone injures his neighbor, just as he has done, so shall it be done to him: 20fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; just as he has injured a person, so shall it be inflicted on him. 21So the one who kills an animal shall make restitution, but the one who kills a person shall be put to death. 22There shall be only one standard for you; it shall be for the stranger as well as the native, for I am the Lord your God.’?' 23Then Moses spoke to the sons of Israel, and they brought the one who had cursed outside the camp, and stoned him with stones. So the sons of Israel did just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

This is a permanent statute throughout your generations. 4He must continually tend the lamps on the pure gold lampstand in the Lord’s presence.
5"Take fine flour and bake it into twelve loaves; each loaf is to be made with four quarts. 6Arrange them in two rows, six to a row, on the pure gold table before the Lord. 7Place pure frankincense near each row, so that it may serve as a memorial portion for the bread and a fire offering to the Lord. 8The bread is to be set out before the Lord every Sabbath day as a permanent covenant obligation on the part of the Israelites. 9It belongs to Aaron and his sons, who are to eat it in a holy place, for it is the holiest portion for him from the fire offerings to the Lord; this is a permanent rule."
10Now the son of an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father was among the Israelites. A fight broke out in the camp between the Israelite woman’s son and an Israelite man. 11Her son cursed and blasphemed the Name, and they brought him to Moses. (His mother’s name was Shelomith, a daughter of Dibri of the tribe of Dan. ) 12They put him in custody until the Lord’s decision could be made clear to them.
13Then the Lord spoke to Moses: 14"Bring the one who has cursed to the outside of the camp and have all who heard him lay their hands on his head; then have the whole community stone him. 15And tell the Israelites: If anyone curses his God, he will bear the consequences of his sin. 16Whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord must be put to death; the whole community is to stone him. If he blasphemes the Name, he is to be put to death, whether the resident alien or the native.
17"If a man kills anyone, he must be put to death. 18Whoever kills an animal is to make restitution for it, life for life. 19If any man inflicts a permanent injury on his neighbor, whatever he has done is to be done to him: 20fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. Whatever injury he inflicted on the person, the same is to be inflicted on him. 21Whoever kills an animal is to make restitution for it, but whoever kills a person is to be put to death. 22You are to have the same law for the resident alien and the native, because I am the Lord your God."
23After Moses spoke to the Israelites, they brought the one who had cursed to the outside of the camp and stoned him. So the Israelites did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
New Living Translation

1The Lord said to Moses, 2Command the people of Israel to bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to keep the lamps burning continually. 3This is the lampstand that stands in the Tabernacle, in front of the inner curtain that shields the Ark of the Covenant. Aaron must keep the lamps burning in the Lord’s presence all night. This is a permanent law for you, and it must be observed from generation to generation. 4Aaron and the priests must tend the lamps on the pure gold lampstand continually in the Lord’s presence.
5You must bake twelve flat loaves of bread from choice flour, using four quarts of flour for each loaf. 6Place the bread before the Lord on the pure gold table, and arrange the loaves in two stacks, with six loaves in each stack. 7Put some pure frankincense near each stack to serve as a representative offering, a special gift presented to the Lord. 8Every Sabbath day this bread must be laid out before the Lord as a gift from the Israelites; it is an ongoing expression of the eternal covenant. 9The loaves of bread will belong to Aaron and his descendants, who must eat them in a sacred place, for they are most holy. It is the permanent right of the priests to claim this portion of the special gifts presented to the Lord.'
10One day a man who had an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father came out of his tent and got into a fight with one of the Israelite men. 11During the fight, this son of an Israelite woman blasphemed the Name of the Lord with a curse. So the man was brought to Moses for judgment. His mother was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri of the tribe of Dan. 12They kept the man in custody until the Lord’s will in the matter should become clear to them.
13Then the Lord said to Moses, 14Take the blasphemer outside the camp, and tell all those who heard the curse to lay their hands on his head. Then let the entire community stone him to death. 15Say to the people of Israel: Those who curse their God will be punished for their sin. 16Anyone who blasphemes the Name of the Lord must be stoned to death by the whole community of Israel. Any native-born Israelite or foreigner among you who blasphemes the Name of the Lord must be put to death.
17Anyone who takes another person’s life must be put to death.
18Anyone who kills another person’s animal must pay for it in full — a live animal for the animal that was killed.
19Anyone who injures another person must be dealt with according to the injury inflicted — 20a fracture for a fracture, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Whatever anyone does to injure another person must be paid back in kind.
21Whoever kills an animal must pay for it in full, but whoever kills another person must be put to death.
22This same standard applies both to native-born Israelites and to the foreigners living among you. I am the Lord your God.'
23After Moses gave all these instructions to the Israelites, they took the blasphemer outside the camp and stoned him to death. The Israelites did just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
