Chapter 24

18the twenty-third for Delaiah, and the twenty-fourth for Maaziah. 19These were their offices for their ministry when they entered the house of the Lord according to the ordinance given to them through their father Aaron, just as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.
20Now for the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah. 21Of Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah, the first. 22Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath. 23The sons of Hebron: Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth. 24Of the sons of Uzziel, Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir. 25The brother of Micah, Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.

19These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the Lord, according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him. 20And the rest of the sons of Levi were these: Of the sons of Amram; Shubael: of the sons of Shubael; Jehdeiah. 21Concerning Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, the first was Isshiah. 22Of the Izharites; Shelomoth: of the sons of Shelomoth; Jahath. 23And the sons of Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth. 24Of the sons of Uzziel; Michah: of the sons of Michah; Shamir.

18The twenty-third lot fell to Delaiah. The twenty-fourth lot fell to Maaziah.
19Each group carried out its appointed duties in the house of the Lord according to the procedures established by their ancestor Aaron in obedience to the commands of the Lord, the God of Israel.
20These were the other family leaders descended from Levi: From the descendants of Amram, the leader was Shebuel. From the descendants of Shebuel, the leader was Jehdeiah. 21From the descendants of Rehabiah, the leader was Isshiah. 22From the descendants of Izhar, the leader was Shelomith. From the descendants of Shelomith, the leader was Jahath. 23From the descendants of Hebron, Jeriah was the leader, Amariah was second, Jahaziel was third, and Jekameam was fourth. 24From the descendants of Uzziel, the leader was Micah. From the descendants of Micah, the leader was Shamir, 25along with Isshiah, the brother of Micah. From the descendants of Isshiah, the leader was Zechariah.
