Chapter 8

6These are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of fathers’ households of the inhabitants of Geba, and they took them into exile to Manahath, 7namely, Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera—he exiled them; and he fathered Uzza and Ahihud. 8Shaharaim fathered children in the country of Moab after he had sent his wives Hushim and Baara away. 9By Hodesh his wife he fathered Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam, 10Jeuz, Sachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of fathers’ households.

8And Shaharaim begat children in the country of Moab, after he had sent them away; Hushim and Baara were his wives. 9And he begat of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham, 10And Jeuz, and Shachia, and Mirma. These were his sons, heads of the fathers.

7Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera. Gera deported them and was the father of Uzza and Ahihud. 8Shaharaim had sons in the territory of Moab after he had divorced his wives Hushim and Baara. 9His sons by his wife Hodesh: Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam, 10Jeuz, Sachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons, family heads.

6The sons of Ehud, leaders of the clans living at Geba, were exiled to Manahath. 7Ehud’s sons were Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera. Gera, who led them into exile, was the father of Uzza and Ahihud.
8After Shaharaim divorced his wives Hushim and Baara, he had children in the land of Moab. 9His wife Hodesh gave birth to Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam, 10Jeuz, Sakia, and Mirmah. These sons all became the leaders of clans.
