Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, 'Which,'

'you heard of from Me;

for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.'

And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

While he was with them, he commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for the Father’s promise. "Which," he said, "you have heard me speak about;

for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit in a few days."

Once when he was eating with them, he commanded them, 'Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you the gift he promised, as I told you before.

John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.'
