Chapter 10

13A voice came to him, 'Get up, Peter, kill and eat!' 14But Peter said, 'By no means, Lord, for I have never eaten anything unholy and unclean.' 15Again a voice came to him a second time, 'What God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy.'

13And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. 15And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

13A voice said to him, "Get up, Peter; kill and eat."
14"No, Lord!" Peter said. "For I have never eaten anything impure and ritually unclean."
15Again, a second time, the voice said to him, "What God has made clean, do not call impure."
