Chapter 11

8But I said, ‘By no means, Lord, for nothing unholy or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’ 9But a voice from heaven answered a second time, ‘What God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy.’

8But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth. 9But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

8"‘No, Lord!’ I said. ‘For nothing impure or ritually unclean has ever entered my mouth.’ 9But a voice answered from heaven a second time, ‘What God has made clean, you must not call impure.’

8‘No, Lord,’ I replied. ‘I have never eaten anything that our Jewish laws have declared impure or unclean. ’
9But the voice from heaven spoke again: ‘Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean.’
