Chapter 14
6they became aware of it and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe, and the surrounding region; 7and there they continued to preach the gospel.
8In Lystra a man was sitting whose feet were incapacitated. He had been disabled from his mother’s womb, and had never walked.
9This man was listening to Paul as he spoke. Paul looked at him intently and saw that he had faith to be made well,
10and he said with a loud voice, 'Stand upright on your feet!' And the man leaped up and began to walk.
11When the crowds saw what Paul had done, they raised their voice, saying in the Lycaonian language, 'The gods have become like men and have come down to us!'
12And they began calling Barnabas, Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, since he was the chief speaker.

10Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
11And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.
12And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.

Chapter 14
6When the apostles learned of it, they fled to the region of Lycaonia — to the towns of Lystra and Derbe and the surrounding area. 7And there they preached the Good News.
8While they were at Lystra, Paul and Barnabas came upon a man with crippled feet. He had been that way from birth, so he had never walked. He was sitting
9and listening as Paul preached. Looking straight at him, Paul realized he had faith to be healed.
10So Paul called to him in a loud voice, 'Stand up!' And the man jumped to his feet and started walking.
