Acts 17:26-30
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 17
26and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, 27that they would seek God, if perhaps they might feel around for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; 28for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His descendants.’ 29Therefore, since we are the descendants of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by human skill and thought. 30So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent,King James Version

Chapter 17
26From one man he has made every nationality to live over the whole earth and has determined their appointed times and the boundaries of where they live. 27He did this so that they might seek God, and perhaps they might reach out and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. 28For in him we live and move and have our being, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also his offspring.’ 29Since we are God’s offspring then, we shouldn’t think that the divine nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image fashioned by human art and imagination.New Living Translation
27His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him — though he is not far from any one of us.
28For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’
29And since this is true, we shouldn’t think of God as an idol designed by craftsmen from gold or silver or stone.

Chapter 17
26And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, 27that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, 28for "‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, "‘For we are indeed his offspring.’New International Version
Chapter 17
26From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’New King James Version
