Chapter 23

34Now when he had read it, he also asked from what province Paul was, and when he learned that he was from Cilicia, 35he said, 'I will give you a hearing when your accusers arrive as well,' giving orders for Paul to be kept in Herod’s Praetorium.

34And when the governor had read the letter, he asked of what province he was. And when he understood that he was of Cilicia; 35I will hear thee, said he, when thine accusers are also come. And he commanded him to be kept in Herod's judgment hall.

34After he read it, he asked what province he was from. When he learned he was from Cilicia, 35he said, "I will give you a hearing whenever your accusers also get here." He ordered that he be kept under guard in Herod’s palace.

34He read it and then asked Paul what province he was from. 'Cilicia,' Paul answered.
