Acts 3:13-26
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 3
13The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus, the one whom you handed over and disowned in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release Him. 14But you disowned the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, 15but put to death the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are witnesses. 16And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.
17And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your rulers also did.
18But the things which God previously announced by the mouths of all the prophets, that His Christ would suffer, He has fulfilled in this way.
19Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;
20and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you,
21whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things, about which God spoke by the mouths of His holy prophets from ancient times.
22Moses said, ‘THE Lord God WILL RAISE UP FOR YOU A PROPHET LIKE ME FROM YOUR COUNTRYMEN; TO HIM YOU SHALL LISTEN regarding everything He says to you.
23And it shall be that every soul that does not listen to that prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’
24And likewise, all the prophets who have spoken from Samuel and his successors onward, have also announced these days.
25It is you who are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God ordained with your fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘AND IN YOUR SEED ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH SHALL BE BLESSED.’
26God raised up His Servant for you first, and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways.'

Chapter 3
13The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. 14But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; 15And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. 16And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. 17And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers. 18But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. 19Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; 20And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 21Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. 22For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. 23And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. 24Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days. 25Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. 26Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 3
13The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our ancestors, has glorified his servant Jesus, whom you handed over and denied before Pilate, though he had decided to release him. 14You denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked to have a murderer released to you. 15You killed the source of life, whom God raised from the dead; we are witnesses of this. 16By faith in his name, his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. So the faith that comes through Jesus has given him this perfect health in front of all of you.
17"And now, brothers and sisters, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your leaders also did.
18In this way God fulfilled what he had predicted through all the prophets—that his Messiah would suffer.
19Therefore repent and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out,
20that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send Jesus, who has been appointed for you as the Messiah.
21Heaven must receive him until the time of the restoration of all things, which God spoke about through his holy prophets from the beginning.
22Moses said: The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers and sisters. You must listen to everything he tells you.
23And everyone who does not listen to that prophet will be completely cut off from the people.
24"In addition, all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and those after him, have also foretold these days.
25You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors, saying to Abraham, And all the families of the earth will be blessed through your offspring.
26God raised up his servant and sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your evil ways."

Chapter 3
13For it is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob — the God of all our ancestors — who has brought glory to his servant Jesus by doing this. This is the same Jesus whom you handed over and rejected before Pilate, despite Pilate’s decision to release him. 14You rejected this holy, righteous one and instead demanded the release of a murderer. 15You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. And we are witnesses of this fact!
17Friends, I realize that what you and your leaders did to Jesus was done in ignorance.
18But God was fulfilling what all the prophets had foretold about the Messiah — that he must suffer these things.
19Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.
20Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah.
21For he must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago through his holy prophets.
22Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from among your own people. Listen carefully to everything he tells you.’
23Then Moses said, ‘Anyone who will not listen to that Prophet will be completely cut off from God’s people.’
24Starting with Samuel, every prophet spoke about what is happening today.
25You are the children of those prophets, and you are included in the covenant God promised to your ancestors. For God said to Abraham, ‘Through your descendants all the families on earth will be blessed.’
26When God raised up his servant, Jesus, he sent him first to you people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways.'

We are witnesses of this. 16By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.
17"Now, fellow Israelites, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.
18But this is how God fulfilled what he had foretold through all the prophets, saying that his Messiah would suffer.
19Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,

21Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.

25And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.’
26When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways."
