Daniel 10:14-21
New American Standard Bible
15When he had spoken to me according to these words, I turned my face toward the ground and became speechless.
16And behold, one who resembled a human was touching my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke and said to him who was standing before me, 'My lord, due to the vision anguish has come upon me, and I have retained no strength.
17For how can such a servant of my lord talk with such as my lord? As for me, there remains just now no strength in me, nor has any breath been left in me.'
18Then this one with human appearance touched me again and strengthened me.
19And he said, 'You who are treasured, do not be afraid. Peace be to you; take courage and be courageous!' Now as soon as he spoke to me, I felt strengthened and said, 'May my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.'
20Then he said, 'Do you understand why I came to you? But I shall now return to fight against the prince of Persia; so I am leaving, and behold, the prince of Greece is about to come.
21However, I will tell you what is recorded in the writing of truth. Yet there is no one who stands firmly with me against these forces except Michael your prince.

15And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
16And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
17For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
18Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
19And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
20Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
21But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

16Suddenly one with human likeness touched my lips. I opened my mouth and said to the one standing in front of me, "My lord, because of the vision, anguish overwhelms me and I am powerless.
17How can someone like me, your servant, speak with someone like you, my lord? Now I have no strength, and there is no breath in me."
20He said, "Do you know why I’ve come to you? I must return at once to fight against the prince of Persia, and when I leave, the prince of Greece will come.
21However, I will tell you what is recorded in the book of truth. (No one has the courage to support me against those princes except Michael, your prince.

15While he was speaking to me, I looked down at the ground, unable to say a word.
16Then the one who looked like a man touched my lips, and I opened my mouth and began to speak. I said to the one standing in front of me, 'I am filled with anguish because of the vision I have seen, my lord, and I am very weak.
17How can someone like me, your servant, talk to you, my lord? My strength is gone, and I can hardly breathe.'
20He replied, 'Do you know why I have come? Soon I must return to fight against the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia, and after that the spirit prince of the kingdom of Greece will come.
21Meanwhile, I will tell you what is written in the Book of Truth. (No one helps me against these spirit princes except Michael, your spirit prince.

16And behold, one in the likeness of the children of man touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke. I said to him who stood before me, "O my lord, by reason of the vision pains have come upon me, and I retain no strength.
17How can my lord 's servant talk with my lord? For now no strength remains in me, and no breath is left in me."
18Again one having the appearance of a man touched me and strengthened me.
19And he said, "O man greatly loved, fear not, peace be with you; be strong and of good courage." And as he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, "Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me."
20Then he said, "Do you know why I have come to you? But now I will return to fight against the prince of Persia; and when I go out, behold, the prince of Greece will come.
21But I will tell you what is inscribed in the book of truth: there is none who contends by my side against these except Michael, your prince.
