Deuteronomy 29:12-16

Chapter 29
12so that you may enter into the covenant with the Lord your God, and into His oath which the Lord your God is making with you today, 13in order that He may establish you today as His people, and that He may be your God, just as He spoke to you and as He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
14Now it is not with you alone that I am making this covenant and this oath,
15but both with those who stand here with us today in the presence of the Lord our God, and with those who are not with us here today
16(for you know how we lived in the land of Egypt, and how we passed through the midst of the nations through which you passed;

12That thou shouldest enter into covenant with the Lord thy God, and into his oath, which the Lord thy God maketh with thee this day: 13That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. 14Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath; 15But with him that standeth here with us this day before the Lord our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day: 16(For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by;Christian Standard Bible
