Chapter 6

2And it was found written what Mordecai had reported about Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s eunuchs who were doorkeepers, that they had sought to attack King Ahasuerus. 3Then the king said, 'What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?' And the king’s servants who attended him said, 'Nothing has been done for him.'

2And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.
3And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king's servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.

2They found the written report of how Mordecai had informed on Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s eunuchs who guarded the entrance, when they planned to assassinate King Ahasuerus.
3The king inquired, "What honor and special recognition have been given to Mordecai for this act?" The king’s personal attendants replied, "Nothing has been done for him."
