and you might take some of his daughters for your sons, and his daughters might prostitute themselves with their gods and cause your sons
also
to prostitute themselves with their gods.
17
You shall not make for yourself
any
gods cast in metal.
18
You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. For seven days you are to eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the appointed time in the month of Abib; for in the month of Abib you came out of Egypt.
19
The firstborn from every womb belongs to Me, and all your male livestock, the firstborn from cattle and sheep.

And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.
17
Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.
18
The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.
19
All that openeth the matrix is mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male.

Then you will take some of their daughters as brides for your sons. Their daughters will prostitute themselves with their gods and cause your sons to prostitute themselves with their gods.

"Do not make cast images of gods for yourselves.
18
"Observe the Festival of Unleavened Bread. You are to eat unleavened bread for seven days at the appointed time in the month of Abib, as I commanded you, for you came out of Egypt in the month of Abib.
19
"The firstborn male from every womb belongs to me, including all your male livestock, the firstborn of cattle or sheep.

Chapter 34
16
Then you will accept their daughters, who sacrifice to other gods, as wives for your sons. And they will seduce your sons to commit adultery against me by worshiping other gods.
17
You must not make any gods of molten metal for yourselves.
18
You must celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread. For seven days the bread you eat must be made without yeast, just as I commanded you. Celebrate this festival annually at the appointed time in early spring, in the month of Abib, for that is the anniversary of your departure from Egypt.
19
The firstborn of every animal belongs to me, including the firstborn males from your herds of cattle and your flocks of sheep and goats.
