Chapter 40

5You shall also set the gold altar of incense in front of the ark of the testimony, and set up the curtain for the doorway to the tabernacle. 6And you shall set the altar of burnt offering in front of the doorway of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting. 7Then you shall set the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it. 8You shall also set up the courtyard all around and hang up the curtain for the gate of the courtyard. 9Then you shall take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and everything that is in it, and consecrate it and all its furnishings; and it shall be holy. 10You shall also anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and consecrate the altar, and the altar shall be most holy. 11And you shall anoint the basin and its stand, and consecrate it.

5And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle. 6And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation. 7And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein. 8And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate. 9And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy. 10And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy. 11And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it.

Put up the screen for the entrance to the tabernacle. 6Position the altar of burnt offering in front of the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting. 7Place the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it. 8Assemble the surrounding courtyard and hang the screen for the gate of the courtyard.
9"Take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and everything in it; consecrate it along with all its furnishings so that it will be holy. 10Anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils; consecrate the altar so that it will be especially holy. 11Anoint the basin and its stand and consecrate it.

Chapter 40

5Place the gold incense altar in front of the Ark of the Covenant. Then hang the curtain at the entrance of the Tabernacle. 6Place the altar of burnt offering in front of the Tabernacle entrance. 7Set the washbasin between the Tabernacle and the altar, and fill it with water. 8Then set up the courtyard around the outside of the tent, and hang the curtain for the courtyard entrance.
9Take the anointing oil and anoint the Tabernacle and all its furnishings to consecrate them and make them holy. 10Anoint the altar of burnt offering and its utensils to consecrate them. Then the altar will become absolutely holy. 11Next anoint the washbasin and its stand to consecrate them.
