Chapter 11

2Then He said to me, 'Son of man, these are the men who devise wrongdoing and give evil advice in this city, 3who say, ‘ The time is not near to build houses. This city is the pot and we are the meat.’ 4Therefore, prophesy against them, prophesy, son of man!'
5Then the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and He said to me, 'Say, ‘This is what the Lord says: 'This is how you think, house of Israel, for I know your thoughts.

2Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city: 3Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh. 4Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.
5And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the Lord; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.

2The Lord said to me, "Son of man, these are the men who plot evil and give wicked advice in this city. 3They are saying, ‘Isn’t the time near to build houses? The city is the pot, and we are the meat.’ 4Therefore, prophesy against them. Prophesy, son of man!"
5Then the Spirit of the Lord came on me, and he told me, "You are to say, ‘This is what the Lord says: That is what you are thinking, house of Israel; and I know the thoughts that arise in your mind.

2The Spirit said to me, 'Son of man, these are the men who are planning evil and giving wicked counsel in this city. 3They say to the people, ‘Is it not a good time to build houses? This city is like an iron pot. We are safe inside it like meat in a pot. ’ 4Therefore, son of man, prophesy against them loudly and clearly.'
5Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon me, and he told me to say, 'This is what the Lord says to the people of Israel: I know what you are saying, for I know every thought that comes into your minds.

5And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and he said to me, "Say, Thus says the Lord: So you think, O house of Israel. For I know the things that come into your mind.
