Chapter 11
5Then the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and He said to me, 'Say, ‘This is what the Lord says: 'This is how you think, house of Israel, for I know your thoughts. 6You have multiplied your slain in this city, and filled its streets with them.' 7Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: 'Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of the city are the meat and this city is the pot; but I will bring you out of it. 8You have feared a sword; so I will bring a sword upon you,' the Lord God declares. 9And I will bring you out of the midst of the city, and hand you over to strangers, and execute judgments against you. 10You will fall by the sword. I will judge you to the border of Israel; so you shall know that I am the Lord. 11This city will not be a pot for you, nor will you be meat in the midst of it; I will judge you to the border of Israel. 12So you will know that I am the Lord; for you have not walked in My statutes, nor have you executed My ordinances, but you have acted in accordance with the ordinances of the nations around you.'?’?'
14Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
15Son of man, your brothers, your relatives, your fellow exiles, and the entire house of Israel, all of them, are those to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, ‘Keep far from the Lord; this land has been given to us as a possession.’
16Therefore say, ‘This is what the Lord God says: 'Though I had removed them far away among the nations, and though I had scattered them among the countries, yet I was a sanctuary for them for a little while in the countries where they had gone.'?’
King James Version
Chapter 11
5And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the Lord; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them. 6Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.
7Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.
8Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord God.
9And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.
10Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
11This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel:
12And ye shall know that I am the Lord: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.

Chapter 11
5Then the Spirit of the Lord came on me, and he told me, "You are to say, ‘This is what the Lord says: That is what you are thinking, house of Israel; and I know the thoughts that arise in your mind. 6You have multiplied your slain in this city, filling its streets with them.
7"‘Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: The slain you have put within it are the meat, and the city is the pot, but I will take you out of it.
8You fear the sword, so I will bring the sword against you. This is the declaration of the Lord God.
9I will take you out of the city and hand you over to foreigners; I will execute judgments against you.
10You will fall by the sword, and I will judge you at the border of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
11The city will not be a pot for you, and you will not be the meat within it. I will judge you at the border of Israel,
12so you will know that I am the Lord, whose statutes you have not followed and whose ordinances you have not practiced. Instead, you have acted according to the ordinances of the nations around you.’"
14The word of the Lord came to me again:
15"Son of man, your own relatives, those who have the right to redeem your property, along with the entire house of Israel—all of them—are those to whom the residents of Jerusalem have said, ‘You are far from the Lord; this land has been given to us as a possession.’
New Living Translation
Chapter 11
5Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon me, and he told me to say, 'This is what the Lord says to the people of Israel: I know what you are saying, for I know every thought that comes into your minds. 6You have murdered many in this city and filled its streets with the dead.
7Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: This city is an iron pot all right, but the pieces of meat are the victims of your injustice. As for you, I will soon drag you from this pot.
8I will bring on you the sword of war you so greatly fear, says the Sovereign Lord.
9I will drive you out of Jerusalem and hand you over to foreigners, who will carry out my judgments against you.
10You will be slaughtered all the way to the borders of Israel. I will execute judgment on you, and you will know that I am the Lord.
11No, this city will not be an iron pot for you, and you will not be like meat safe inside it. I will judge you even to the borders of Israel,
12and you will know that I am the Lord. For you have refused to obey my decrees and regulations; instead, you have copied the standards of the nations around you.'

Chapter 11
5And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and he said to me, "Say, Thus says the Lord: So you think, O house of Israel. For I know the things that come into your mind. 6You have multiplied your slain in this city and have filled its streets with the slain. 7Therefore thus says the Lord God: Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of it, they are the meat, and this city is the cauldron, but you shall be brought out of the midst of it. 8You have feared the sword, and I will bring the sword upon you, declares the Lord God. 9And I will bring you out of the midst of it, and give you into the hands of foreigners, and execute judgments upon you. 10You shall fall by the sword. I will judge you at the border of Israel, and you shall know that I am the Lord. 11This city shall not be your cauldron, nor shall you be the meat in the midst of it. I will judge you at the border of Israel, 12and you shall know that I am the Lord. For you have not walked in my statutes, nor obeyed my rules, but have acted according to the rules of the nations that are around you."
14And the word of the Lord came to me:
15"Son of man, your brothers, even your brothers, your kinsmen, the whole house of Israel, all of them, are those of whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, ‘Go far from the Lord; to us this land is given for a possession.’
16Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Though I removed them far off among the nations, and though I scattered them among the countries, yet I have been a sanctuary to them for a while in the countries where they have gone.’

Chapter 11
5Then the Spirit of the Lord came on me, and he told me to say: "This is what the Lord says: That is what you are saying, you leaders in Israel, but I know what is going through your mind. 6You have killed many people in this city and filled its streets with the dead.
7"Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: The bodies you have thrown there are the meat and this city is the pot, but I will drive you out of it.
8You fear the sword, and the sword is what I will bring against you, declares the Sovereign Lord.
9I will drive you out of the city and deliver you into the hands of foreigners and inflict punishment on you.
10You will fall by the sword, and I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
11This city will not be a pot for you, nor will you be the meat in it; I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel.
12And you will know that I am the Lord, for you have not followed my decrees or kept my laws but have conformed to the standards of the nations around you."

14Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
15“Son of man, your brethren, your relatives, your countrymen, and all the house of Israel in its entirety, are those about whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, ‘Get far away from the Lord; this land has been given to us as a possession.’
16Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Although I have cast them far off among the Gentiles, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet I shall be a little sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.” ’
