Ezekiel 3:20-25
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 3
20Again, when a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and commits sin, and I place an obstacle before him, he will die; since you have not warned him, he shall die in his sin, and his righteous deeds which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require from your hand. 21However, if you have warned the righteous person that the righteous is not to sin, and he does not sin, he shall certainly live because he took warning; and you have saved yourself.'
22Now the hand of the Lord was on me there, and He said to me, 'Get up, go out to the plain, and there I will speak to you.'
23So I got up and went out to the plain; and behold, the glory of the Lord was standing there, like the glory that I saw by the river Chebar, and I fell on my face.
24But the Spirit entered me and set me up on my feet; and He spoke with me and said to me, 'Go, shut yourself inside your house.
25And as for you, son of man, they will put ropes around you and bind you with them so that you do not go out among them.
King James Version
Chapter 3
20Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 21Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul. 22And the hand of the Lord was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee. 23Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the Lord stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 3
20Now if a righteous person turns from his righteousness and acts unjustly, and I put a stumbling block in front of him, he will die. If you did not warn him, he will die because of his sin, and the righteous acts he did will not be remembered. Yet I will hold you responsible for his blood. 21But if you warn the righteous person that he should not sin, and he does not sin, he will indeed live because he listened to your warning, and you will have rescued yourself."
22The hand of the Lord was on me there, and he said to me, "Get up, go out to the plain, and I will speak with you there."
23So I got up and went out to the plain. The Lord’s glory was present there, like the glory I had seen by the Chebar Canal, and I fell facedown.
24The Spirit entered me and set me on my feet. He spoke with me and said: "Go, shut yourself inside your house.
25As for you, son of man, they will put ropes on you and bind you with them so you cannot go out among them.

24But the Spirit entered into me and set me on my feet, and he spoke with me and said to me, "Go, shut yourself within your house.
