Ezekiel 4:6-12
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 4
6When you have completed these days, you shall lie down a second time, but on your right side, and bear the wrongdoing of the house of Judah; I have assigned it to you for forty days, a day for each year. 7Then you shall direct your face toward the siege of Jerusalem with your arm bared, and prophesy against it. 8Now behold, I will put ropes around you so that you cannot turn from your one side to your other until you have completed the days of your siege.
9But as for you, take wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel and make them into bread for yourself; you shall eat it according to the number of the days that you lie on your side, 390 days.
10Your food which you eat shall be twenty shekels a day by weight; you shall eat it from time to time.
11The water you drink shall be a sixth of a hin by measure; you shall drink it from time to time.
12You shall eat it as a barley cake, having baked it in their sight over human dung.'
King James Version
Chapter 4
6And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year. 7Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it. 8And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.
9Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
10And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.
11Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.
12And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.

Chapter 4
6When you have completed these days, lie down again, but on your right side, and bear the iniquity of the house of Judah. I have assigned you forty days, a day for each year. 7Face the siege of Jerusalem with your arm bared, and prophesy against it. 8Be aware that I will put cords on you so you cannot turn from side to side until you have finished the days of your siege.
9"Also take wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt. Put them in a single container and make them into bread for yourself. You are to eat it during the number of days you lie on your side, 390 days.
10The food you eat each day will weigh eight ounces; you will eat it at set times.
11You will also drink a ration of water, a sixth of a gallon, which you will drink at set times.
12You will eat it as you would a barley cake and bake it over dried human excrement in their sight."
New Living Translation
7Meanwhile, keep staring at the siege of Jerusalem. Lie there with your arm bared and prophesy her destruction.
8I will tie you up with ropes so you won’t be able to turn from side to side until the days of your siege have been completed.
9Now go and get some wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and emmer wheat, and mix them together in a storage jar. Use them to make bread for yourself during the 390 days you will be lying on your side.
10Ration this out to yourself, eight ounces of food for each day, and eat it at set times.
11Then measure out a jar of water for each day, and drink it at set times.
12Prepare and eat this food as you would barley cakes. While all the people are watching, bake it over a fire using dried human dung as fuel and then eat the bread.'
