Ezekiel 43:2-5
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 43
2
and behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the way of the east. And His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone from His glory.
3
And
it was
like the appearance of the vision which I saw, like the vision which I saw when He came to destroy the city. And the visions
were
like the vision which I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell on my face.
4
And the glory of the
Lord
entered the house by way of the gate facing east.
5
And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner courtyard; and behold, the glory of the
Lord
filled the house.
King James Version
Chapter 43
2
And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.
3
And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.
4
And the glory of the
Lord
came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.
5
So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the
Lord
filled the house.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 43
2
and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice sounded like the roar of a huge torrent, and the earth shone with his glory.
3
The vision I saw was like the one I had seen when he came to destroy the city, and like the ones I had seen by the Chebar Canal. I fell facedown.
4
The glory of the
Lord
entered the temple by way of the gate that faced east.
5
Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the inner court, and the glory of the
Lord
filled the temple.
New Living Translation
Chapter 43
2
Suddenly, the glory of the God of Israel appeared from the east. The sound of his coming was like the roar of rushing waters, and the whole landscape shone with his glory.
3
This vision was just like the others I had seen, first by the Kebar River and then when he came to destroy Jerusalem. I fell face down on the ground.
4
And the glory of the
Lord
came into the Temple through the east gateway.
5
Then the Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner courtyard, and the glory of the
Lord
filled the Temple.
