Chapter 48

25Beside the border of Simeon, from the east side to the west side, Issachar, one portion. 26Beside the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west side, Zebulun, one portion. 27Beside the border of Zebulun, from the east side to the west side, Gad, one portion. 28And beside the border of Gad, at the south side toward the south, the border shall be from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the brook of Egypt, to the Great Sea. 29This is the land which you shall divide by lot to the tribes of Israel for an inheritance, and these are their several portions,' declares the Lord God.
30Now these are the exits of the city: on the north side, 4,500 cubits by measurement,

25And by the border of Simeon, from the east side unto the west side, Issachar a portion. 26And by the border of Issachar, from the east side unto the west side, Zebulun a portion. 27And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side unto the west side, Gad a portion. 28And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar unto the waters of strife in Kadesh, and to the river toward the great sea. 29This is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord God.
30And these are the goings out of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred measures.

28Next to the territory of Gad toward the south side, the border will run from Tamar to the Waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the Brook of Egypt, and out to the Mediterranean Sea. 29This is the land you are to allot as an inheritance to Israel’s tribes, and these will be their portions." 25Next is the territory of Issachar with the same eastern and western boundaries.
26Then comes the territory of Zebulun, which also extends across the land from east to west. 27The territory of Gad is just south of Zebulun with the same borders to the east and west. 28The southern border of Gad runs from Tamar to the waters of Meribah at Kadesh and then follows the Brook of Egypt to the Mediterranean.
29These are the allotments that will be set aside for each tribe’s exclusive possession. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!
30These will be the exits to the city: On the north wall, which is 1 1/2 miles long,
