New American Standard Bible
Chapter 9
4And the Lord said to him, 'Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and make a mark on the foreheads of the people who groan and sigh over all the abominations which are being committed in its midst.' 5But to the others He said in my presence, 'Go through the city after him and strike; do not let your eye have pity and do not spare. 6Utterly kill old men, young men, female virgins, little children, and women, but do not touch any person on whom is the mark; and you shall start from My sanctuary.' So they started with the elders who were before the temple. 7He also said to them, 'Defile the temple and fill the courtyards with the dead. Go out!' So they went out and struck and killed the people in the city.King James Version
5And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
6Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

6Slaughter the old men, the young men and women, as well as the children and older women, but do not come near anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary." So they began with the elders who were in front of the temple.
7Then he said to them, "Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go!" So they went out killing people in the city.
New Living Translation
5Then I heard the Lord say to the other men, 'Follow him through the city and kill everyone whose forehead is not marked. Show no mercy; have no pity!
6Kill them all — old and young, girls and women and little children. But do not touch anyone with the mark. Begin right here at the Temple.' So they began by killing the seventy leaders.
