Chapter 2

56the sons of Jaalah, the sons of Darkon, the sons of Giddel, 57the sons of Shephatiah, the sons of Hattil, the sons of Pochereth-hazzebaim, and the sons of Ami.
58All the temple servants and the sons of Solomon’s servants totaled 392.
59Now these were the ones who came up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer, but they were not able to provide evidence of their fathers’ households and their descendants, whether they were of Israel: 60the sons of Delaiah, the sons of Tobiah, and the sons of Nekoda, 652.

56The children of Jaalah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel, 57The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Ami.
58All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants, were three hundred ninety and two.
59And these were they which went up from Telmelah, Telharsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not shew their father's house, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:
60The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.

59Another group returned at this time from the towns of Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Kerub, Addan, and Immer. However, they could not prove that they or their families were descendants of Israel. 60This group included the families of Delaiah, Tobiah, and Nekoda — a total of 652 people.
