Chapter 31
2And Jacob saw the attitude of Laban, and behold, it was not friendly toward him as it had been before. 3Then the Lord said to Jacob, 'Return to the land of your fathers and to your relatives, and I will be with you.' 4So Jacob sent word and called Rachel and Leah to his flock in the field, 5and said to them, 'I see your father’s attitude, that it is not friendly toward me as it was before, but the God of my father has been with me. 6You know that I have served your father with all my strength. 7Yet your father has cheated me and changed my wages ten times; however, God did not allow him to do me harm.King James Version

2And Jacob beheld the countenance of Laban, and, behold, it was not toward him as before.
3And the Lord said unto Jacob, Return unto the land of thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee.
4And Jacob sent and called Rachel and Leah to the field unto his flock,
5And said unto them, I see your father's countenance, that it is not toward me as before; but the God of my father hath been with me.
6And ye know that with all my power I have served your father.
7And your father hath deceived me, and changed my wages ten times; but God suffered him not to hurt me.

Chapter 31
2And Jacob saw from Laban’s face that his attitude toward him was not the same as before.
4Jacob had Rachel and Leah called to the field where his flocks were.
5He said to them, "I can see from your father’s face that his attitude toward me is not the same as before, but the God of my father has been with me.
6You know that with all my strength I have served your father
7and that he has cheated me and changed my wages ten times. But God has not let him harm me.

5He said to them, 'I have noticed that your father’s attitude toward me has changed. But the God of my father has been with me.

4So Jacob sent and called Rachel and Leah into the field where his flock was
5and said to them, "I see that your father does not regard me with favor as he did before. But the God of my father has been with me.
6You know that I have served your father with all my strength,
7yet your father has cheated me and changed my wages ten times. But God did not permit him to harm me.
