Chapter 4

24If Cain is avenged seven times, Then Lamech seventy-seven times!'
25Adam had relations with his wife again; and she gave birth to a son, and named him Seth, for, she said, 'God has appointed me another child in place of Abel, because Cain killed him.'

24If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold. 25And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

24If Cain is to be avenged seven times over, then for Lamech it will be seventy-seven times!
