Chapter 40
3So he put them in confinement in the house of the captain of the bodyguard, in the prison, the same place where Joseph was imprisoned. 4And the captain of the bodyguard put Joseph in charge of them, and he took care of them; and they were in confinement for some time. 5Then the cupbearer and the baker for the king of Egypt, who were confined in the prison, both had a dream the same night, each man with his own dream and each dream with its own interpretation. 6When Joseph came to them in the morning and saw them, behold, they were dejected. 7So he asked Pharaoh’s officials who were with him in confinement in his master’s house, 'Why are your faces so sad today?'King James Version

3And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound. 4And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season in ward. 5And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were bound in the prison. 6And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad. 7And he asked Pharaoh's officers that were with him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day?Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 40
3and put them in custody in the house of the captain of the guards in the prison where Joseph was confined. 4The captain of the guards assigned Joseph to them as their personal attendant, and they were in custody for some time.
5The king of Egypt’s cupbearer and baker, who were confined in the prison, each had a dream. Both had a dream on the same night, and each dream had its own meaning.
6When Joseph came to them in the morning, he saw that they looked distraught.
7So he asked Pharaoh’s officers who were in custody with him in his master’s house, "Why do you look so sad today?"

5And one night they both dreamed — the cupbearer and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were confined in the prison — each his own dream, and each dream with its own interpretation.
6When Joseph came to them in the morning, he saw that they were troubled.
7So he asked Pharaoh 's officers who were with him in custody in his master 's house, "Why are your faces downcast today?"
