Let the food be
used
as a reserve for the land for the seven years of famine which will occur in the land of Egypt, so that the land will not perish during the famine.'

Now the proposal seemed good to Pharaoh and to all his servants.
38
Then Pharaoh said to his servants, 'Can we find a man like this, in whom there is a divine spirit?'

And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.
37
And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.
38
And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?

The food will be a reserve for the land during the seven years of famine that will take place in the land of Egypt. Then the country will not be wiped out by the famine."

The proposal pleased Pharaoh and all his servants,

and he said to them, "Can we find anyone like this, a man who has God’s spirit in him?"

That way there will be enough to eat when the seven years of famine come to the land of Egypt. Otherwise this famine will destroy the land.'

Joseph’s suggestions were well received by Pharaoh and his officials.

So Pharaoh asked his officials, 'Can we find anyone else like this man so obviously filled with the spirit of God?'
