Hebrews 13:13-25
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 13
13So then, let us go out to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach. 14For here we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking the city which is to come.
15Through Him then, let’s continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips praising His name.
16And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
18Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a good conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things.
19And I urge you all the more to do this, so that I may be restored to you more quickly.
20Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, that is, Jesus our Lord,
21equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
King James Version
Chapter 13
13Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. 14For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. 15By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. 16But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
18Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
19But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
20Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 13
13Let us then go to him outside the camp, bearing his disgrace. 14For we do not have an enduring city here; instead, we seek the one to come. 15Therefore, through him let us continually offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name. 16Don’t neglect to do what is good and to share, for God is pleased with such sacrifices. 17Obey your leaders and submit to them, since they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account, so that they can do this with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. 18Pray for us, for we are convinced that we have a clear conscience, wanting to conduct ourselves honorably in everything. 19And I urge you all the more to pray that I may be restored to you very soon.
20Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus—the great Shepherd of the sheep —through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21equip you with everything good to do his will, working in us what is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
22Brothers and sisters, I urge you to receive this message of exhortation, for I have written to you briefly.
23Be aware that our brother Timothy has been released. If he comes soon enough, he will be with me when I see you.
24Greet all your leaders and all the saints. Those who are from Italy send you greetings.
25Grace be with you all.
New Living Translation
Chapter 13
13So let us go out to him, outside the camp, and bear the disgrace he bore. 14For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.
15Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name.
16And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.
18Pray for us, for our conscience is clear and we want to live honorably in everything we do.
19And especially pray that I will be able to come back to you soon.
20Now may the God of peace — who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood —
21may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.
English Standard Version
Chapter 13
13Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured. 14For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come. 15Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. 16Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
18Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things.
19I urge you the more earnestly to do this in order that I may be restored to you the sooner.
20Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,
21equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
22I appeal to you, brothers, bear with my word of exhortation, for I have written to you briefly.
23You should know that our brother Timothy has been released, with whom I shall see you if he comes soon.
24Greet all your leaders and all the saints. Those who come from Italy send you greetings.
25Grace be with all of you.
