Chapter 65

4Who sit among graves and spend the night in secret places; Who eat pig’s flesh, And the broth of unclean meat is in their pots. 5Who say, ‘Keep to yourself, do not come near me, For I am holier than you!’ These are smoke in My nostrils, A fire that burns all the day. 6Behold, it is written before Me: I will not keep silent, but I will repay; I will even repay into their laps,
7Both your own wrongdoings and the wrongdoings of your fathers together,' says the Lord. 'Because they have burned incense on the mountains And scorned Me on the hills, Therefore I will measure their former work into their laps.'

4Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
5Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
6Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,
7Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the Lord, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.

4sitting among the graves, spending nights in secret places, eating the meat of pigs, and putting polluted broth in their bowls. 5They say, ‘Keep to yourself, don’t come near me, for I am too holy for you!’ These practices are smoke in my nostrils, a fire that burns all day long. 6Look, it is written in front of me: I will not keep silent, but I will repay; I will repay them fully 7for your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers together," says the Lord. "Because they burned incense on the mountains and reproached me on the hills, I will reward them fully for their former deeds."

Chapter 65

4At night they go out among the graves, worshiping the dead. They eat the flesh of pigs and make stews with other forbidden foods. 5Yet they say to each other, ‘Don’t come too close or you will defile me! I am holier than you!’ These people are a stench in my nostrils, an acrid smell that never goes away.
6'Look, my decree is written out in front of me: I will not stand silent; I will repay them in full! Yes, I will repay them — 7both for their own sins and for those of their ancestors,' says the Lord. 'For they also burned incense on the mountains and insulted me on the hills. I will pay them back in full!
