New American Standard Bible
Chapter 30
10And do not fear, Jacob My servant,’ declares the Lord, ‘And do not be dismayed, Israel; For behold, I am going to save you from far away, And your descendants from the land of their captivity. And Jacob will return and be at peace, without anxiety, And no one will make him afraid. 11For I am with you,’ declares the Lord, ‘to save you; For I will completely destroy all the nations where I have scattered you, Only I will not destroy you completely. But I will discipline you fairly And will by no means leave you unpunished.’ 12'For this is what the Lord says: ‘Your broken limb is irreparable, And your wound is incurable. 13There is no one to plead your cause; No healing for your sore, No recovery for you. 14All your lovers have forgotten you, They do not seek you; For I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, With the punishment of a cruel one, Because your wrongdoing is great, And your sins are numerous.King James Version
11For I am with thee, saith the Lord, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
12For thus saith the Lord, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous.
Christian Standard Bible
12For this is what the Lord says: Your injury is incurable; your wound most severe.
13You have no defender for your case. There is no remedy for your sores, and no healing for you.
14All your lovers have forgotten you; they no longer look for you, for I have struck you as an enemy would, with the discipline of someone cruel, because of your enormous guilt and your innumerable sins.
New Living Translation
Chapter 30
10'So do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant; do not be dismayed, Israel,' says the Lord. 'For I will bring you home again from distant lands, and your children will return from their exile. Israel will return to a life of peace and quiet, and no one will terrorize them. 11For I am with you and will save you,' says the Lord. 'I will completely destroy the nations where I have scattered you, but I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you, but with justice; I cannot let you go unpunished.'
12This is what the Lord says: 'Your injury is incurable — a terrible wound.
13There is no one to help you or to bind up your injury. No medicine can heal you.
14All your lovers — your allies — have left you and do not care about you anymore. I have wounded you cruelly, as though I were your enemy. For your sins are many, and your guilt is great.
