Chapter 17

5He who informs against friends for a share of the spoils, The eyes of his children also will perish. 6'But He has made me a proverb among the people, And I am one at whom people spit. 7My eye has also become inexpressive because of grief, And all my body parts are like a shadow.

5He that speaketh flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.
6He hath made me also a byword of the people; and aforetime I was as a tabret.
7Mine eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.
