Chapter 19

27Whom I, on my part, shall behold for myself, And whom my eyes will see, and not another. My heart faints within me! 28If you say, ‘How shall we persecute him?’ And ‘ What pretext for a case against him can we find?’

27Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
28But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me?
