Chapter 37
10From the breath of God ice is made, And the expanse of the waters is frozen. 11He also loads the clouds with moisture; He disperses the cloud of His lightning. 12It changes direction, turning around by His guidance, That it may do whatever He commands it On the face of the inhabited earth. 13Whether for correction, or for His earth, Or for goodness, He causes it to happen. 14'Listen to this, Job; Stand and consider the wonders of God. 15Do you know how God establishes them, And makes the lightning of His clouds to shine? 16Do you know about the hovering of the clouds, The wonders of One who is perfect in knowledge, 17You whose garments are hot When the land is still because of the south wind? 18Can you, with Him, spread out the skies, Strong as a cast metal mirror? 19Teach us what we are to say to Him; We cannot present our case because of darkness. 20Shall it be told Him that I would speak? Or should a man say that he would be swallowed up? 21'Now people do not see the light which is bright in the skies; But the wind has passed and cleared them. 22From the north comes golden splendor; Around God is awesome majesty.King James Version

Chapter 37
10Ice is formed by the breath of God, and watery expanses are frozen. 11He saturates clouds with moisture; he scatters his lightning through them. 12They swirl about, turning round and round at his direction, accomplishing everything he commands them over the surface of the inhabited world.
13He causes this to happen for punishment, for his land, or for his faithful love.
14Listen to this, Job. Stop and consider God’s wonders.
15Do you know how God directs his clouds or makes their lightning flash?
16Do you understand how the clouds float, those wonderful works of him who has perfect knowledge?
17You whose clothes get hot when the south wind brings calm to the land,
18can you help God spread out the skies as hard as a cast metal mirror?
19Teach us what we should say to him; we cannot prepare our case because of our darkness.
20Should he be told that I want to speak? Can a man speak when he is confused?
21Now no one can even look at the sun when it is in the skies, after a wind has swept through and cleared the clouds away.
22Yet out of the north he comes, shrouded in a golden glow; awesome majesty surrounds him.

Chapter 37
10God’s breath sends the ice, freezing wide expanses of water. 11He loads the clouds with moisture, and they flash with his lightning. 12The clouds churn about at his direction. They do whatever he commands throughout the earth. 13He makes these things happen either to punish people or to show his unfailing love.
14'Pay attention to this, Job. Stop and consider the wonderful miracles of God!
15Do you know how God controls the storm and causes the lightning to flash from his clouds?
16Do you understand how he moves the clouds with wonderful perfection and skill?
17When you are sweltering in your clothes and the south wind dies down and everything is still,
18he makes the skies reflect the heat like a bronze mirror. Can you do that?
19'So teach the rest of us what to say to God. We are too ignorant to make our own arguments.
20Should God be notified that I want to speak? Can people even speak when they are confused?
21We cannot look at the sun, for it shines brightly in the sky when the wind clears away the clouds.
22So also, golden splendor comes from the mountain of God. He is clothed in dazzling splendor.

10By the breath of God ice is given, and the broad waters are frozen fast. 11He loads the thick cloud with moisture; the clouds scatter his lightning. 12They turn around and around by his guidance, to accomplish all that he commands them on the face of the habitable world. 13Whether for correction or for his land or for love, he causes it to happen. 14"Hear this, O Job; stop and consider the wondrous works of God. 15Do you know how God lays his command upon them and causes the lightning of his cloud to shine? 16Do you know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge, 17you whose garments are hot when the earth is still because of the south wind? 18Can you, like him, spread out the skies, hard as a cast metal mirror? 19Teach us what we shall say to him; we cannot draw up our case because of darkness. 20Shall it be told him that I would speak? Did a man ever wish that he would be swallowed up? 21"And now no one looks on the light when it is bright in the skies, when the wind has passed and cleared them. 22Out of the north comes golden splendor; God is clothed with awesome majesty.New International Version

10The breath of God produces ice, and the broad waters become frozen. 11He loads the clouds with moisture; he scatters his lightning through them. 12At his direction they swirl around over the face of the whole earth to do whatever he commands them.
13He brings the clouds to punish people, or to water his earth and show his love.
14"Listen to this, Job; stop and consider God’s wonders.
15Do you know how God controls the clouds and makes his lightning flash?
16Do you know how the clouds hang poised, those wonders of him who has perfect knowledge?
17You who swelter in your clothes when the land lies hushed under the south wind,
18can you join him in spreading out the skies, hard as a mirror of cast bronze?
19"Tell us what we should say to him; we cannot draw up our case because of our darkness.
20Should he be told that I want to speak? Would anyone ask to be swallowed up?
21Now no one can look at the sun, bright as it is in the skies after the wind has swept them clean.
22Out of the north he comes in golden splendor; God comes in awesome majesty.
