Job 37:17-21
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 37
17You whose garments are hot When the land is still because of the south wind? 18Can you, with Him, spread out the skies, Strong as a cast metal mirror? 19Teach us what we are to say to Him; We cannot present our case because of darkness. 20Shall it be told Him that I would speak? Or should a man say that he would be swallowed up? 21'Now people do not see the light which is bright in the skies; But the wind has passed and cleared them.King James Version
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 37
17You whose clothes get hot when the south wind brings calm to the land, 18can you help God spread out the skies as hard as a cast metal mirror? 19Teach us what we should say to him; we cannot prepare our case because of our darkness. 20Should he be told that I want to speak? Can a man speak when he is confused? 21Now no one can even look at the sun when it is in the skies, after a wind has swept through and cleared the clouds away.New Living Translation

Chapter 37
17you whose garments are hot when the earth is still because of the south wind? 18Can you, like him, spread out the skies, hard as a cast metal mirror? 19Teach us what we shall say to him; we cannot draw up our case because of darkness. 20Shall it be told him that I would speak? Did a man ever wish that he would be swallowed up? 21"And now no one looks on the light when it is bright in the skies, when the wind has passed and cleared them.New International Version
18can you join him in spreading out the skies, hard as a mirror of cast bronze?
19"Tell us what we should say to him; we cannot draw up our case because of our darkness.
20Should he be told that I want to speak? Would anyone ask to be swallowed up?
21Now no one can look at the sun, bright as it is in the skies after the wind has swept them clean.
