Chapter 37
18Can you, with Him, spread out the skies, Strong as a cast metal mirror? 19Teach us what we are to say to Him; We cannot present our case because of darkness. 20Shall it be told Him that I would speak? Or should a man say that he would be swallowed up? 21'Now people do not see the light which is bright in the skies; But the wind has passed and cleared them. 22From the north comes golden splendor; Around God is awesome majesty. 23The Almighty—we cannot find Him; He is exalted in power And He will not violate justice and abundant righteousness. 24Therefore people fear Him; He does not regard any who are wise of heart.'King James Version

18can you help God spread out the skies as hard as a cast metal mirror? 19Teach us what we should say to him; we cannot prepare our case because of our darkness. 20Should he be told that I want to speak? Can a man speak when he is confused? 21Now no one can even look at the sun when it is in the skies, after a wind has swept through and cleared the clouds away. 22Yet out of the north he comes, shrouded in a golden glow; awesome majesty surrounds him. 23The Almighty—we cannot reach him— he is exalted in power! He will not violate justice and abundant righteousness, 24therefore, men fear him. He does not look favorably on any who are wise in heart.New Living Translation
19'So teach the rest of us what to say to God. We are too ignorant to make our own arguments.
20Should God be notified that I want to speak? Can people even speak when they are confused?
21We cannot look at the sun, for it shines brightly in the sky when the wind clears away the clouds.
22So also, golden splendor comes from the mountain of God. He is clothed in dazzling splendor.
23We cannot imagine the power of the Almighty; but even though he is just and righteous, he does not destroy us.
24No wonder people everywhere fear him. All who are wise show him reverence. '

Did a man ever wish that he would be swallowed up? 21"And now no one looks on the light when it is bright in the skies, when the wind has passed and cleared them. 22Out of the north comes golden splendor; God is clothed with awesome majesty. 23The Almighty — we cannot find him; he is great in power; justice and abundant righteousness he will not violate. 24Therefore men fear him; he does not regard any who are wise in their own conceit."New International Version

Would anyone ask to be swallowed up? 21Now no one can look at the sun, bright as it is in the skies after the wind has swept them clean. 22Out of the north he comes in golden splendor; God comes in awesome majesty. 23The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power; in his justice and great righteousness, he does not oppress. 24Therefore, people revere him, for does he not have regard for all the wise in heart?
