Chapter 5

22You will laugh at violence and hunger, And you will not be afraid of wild animals. 23For you will be in league with the stones of the field, And the animals of the field will be at peace with you. 24You will know that your tent is secure, For you will visit your home and have nothing missing. 25You will also know that your descendants will be many, And your offspring as the grass of the earth. 26You will come to the grave at a ripe age, Like the stacking of grain in its season. 27Behold this; we have investigated it, and so it is. Hear it, and know for yourself.'

Chapter 5

22At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.
23For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee.
24And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin.
25Thou shalt know also that thy seed shall be great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth.
26Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season.
27Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good.

22You will laugh at destruction and hunger and not fear the land’s wild creatures. 23For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field, and the wild animals will be at peace with you. 24You will know that your tent is secure, and nothing will be missing when you inspect your home. 25You will also know that your offspring will be many and your descendants like the grass of the earth.
26You will approach the grave in full vigor, as a stack of sheaves is gathered in its season. 27We have investigated this, and it is true! Hear it and understand it for yourself.

Chapter 5

22You will laugh at destruction and famine; wild animals will not terrify you. 23You will be at peace with the stones of the field, and its wild animals will be at peace with you. 24You will know that your home is safe. When you survey your possessions, nothing will be missing. 25You will have many children; your descendants will be as plentiful as grass! 26You will go to the grave at a ripe old age, like a sheaf of grain harvested at the proper time!
27'We have studied life and found all this to be true. Listen to my counsel, and apply it to yourself.'
