Chapter 12

29So the crowd who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying, 'An angel has spoken to Him!' 30Jesus responded and said, 'This voice has not come for My sake, but for yours. 31Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. 32And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to Myself.' 33Now He was saying this to indicate what kind of death He was going to die.

29The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.
30Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes. 31Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. 32And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. 33This he said, signifying what death he should die.
