John 15:24-25
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 15
24
If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well.
25
But
this has happened
so that the word that is written in their Law will be fulfilled: ‘THEY HATED ME FOR NO REASON.’
King James Version
Chapter 15
24
If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
25
But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 15
24
If I had not done the works among them that no one else has done, they would not have sin. Now they have seen and hated both me and my Father.
25
But this happened so that the statement written in their law might be fulfilled:
They hated me for no reason.
New Living Translation
Chapter 15
24
If I hadn’t done such miraculous signs among them that no one else could do, they would not be guilty. But as it is, they have seen everything I did, yet they still hate me and my Father.
25
This fulfills what is written in their Scriptures : ‘They hated me without cause.’
English Standard Version
Chapter 15
24
If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin, but now they have seen and hated both me and my Father.
25
But the word that is written in their Law must be fulfilled: ‘They hated me without a cause.’
New International Version
Chapter 15
24
If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father.
25
But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated me without reason.’
New King James Version
Chapter 15
24
If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father.
25
But
this happened
that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’
