John 2:15-23
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 2
15And He made a whip of cords, and drove them all out of the temple area, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables; 16and to those who were selling the doves He said, 'Take these things away from here; stop making My Father’s house a place of business!' 17His disciples remembered that it was written: 'ZEAL FOR YOUR HOUSE WILL CONSUME ME.' 18The Jews then said to Him, 'What sign do You show us as your authority for doing these things?' 19Jesus answered them, 'Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.' 20The Jews then said, 'It took forty-six years to build this temple, and yet You will raise it up in three days?' 21But He was speaking about the temple of His body. 22So when He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.King James Version
Chapter 2
15And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; 16And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise. 17And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. 18Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? 19Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? 21But he spake of the temple of his body. 22When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.Christian Standard Bible

Chapter 2
15Jesus made a whip from some ropes and chased them all out of the Temple. He drove out the sheep and cattle, scattered the money changers’ coins over the floor, and turned over their tables. 16Then, going over to the people who sold doves, he told them, 'Get these things out of here. Stop turning my Father’s house into a marketplace!'
20What!' they exclaimed. 'It has taken forty-six years to build this Temple, and you can rebuild it in three days?'
21But when Jesus said 'this temple,' he meant his own body.
22After he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered he had said this, and they believed both the Scriptures and what Jesus had said.

Chapter 2
15And making a whip of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and oxen. And he poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. 16And he told those who sold the pigeons, "Take these things away; do not make my Father 's house a house of trade." 17His disciples remembered that it was written, "Zeal for your house will consume me."
18So the Jews said to him, "What sign do you show us for doing these things?"
19Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."
20The Jews then said, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will you raise it up in three days?"
21But he was speaking about the temple of his body.
22When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.

Chapter 2
15So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. 16To those who sold doves he said, "Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!" 17His disciples remembered that it is written: "Zeal for your house will consume me."
20They replied, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?"
21But the temple he had spoken of was his body.
22After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.
