New American Standard Bible
Chapter 21
6And He said to them, 'Cast the net on the right-hand side of the boat, and you will find the fish.' So they cast it, and then they were not able to haul it in because of the great quantity of fish. 7Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved *said to Peter, 'It is the Lord!' So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he was stripped for work), and threw himself into the sea. 8But the other disciples came in the little boat, for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits away, dragging the net full of fish.King James Version
Chapter 21
6And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. 7Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. 8And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes. 9As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.Christian Standard Bible
7The disciple, the one Jesus loved, said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he tied his outer clothing around him (for he had taken it off) and plunged into the sea.
8Since they were not far from land (about a hundred yards away), the other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish.
New Living Translation
7Then the disciple Jesus loved said to Peter, 'It’s the Lord!' When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his tunic (for he had stripped for work), jumped into the water, and headed to shore.
8The others stayed with the boat and pulled the loaded net to the shore, for they were only about a hundred yards from shore.
9When they got there, they found breakfast waiting for them — fish cooking over a charcoal fire, and some bread.
