Chapter 7

9Now having said these things to them, He stayed in Galilee.
10But when His brothers had gone up to the feast, then He Himself also went up, not publicly, but as though in secret. 11So the Jews were looking for Him at the feast and saying, 'Where is He?' 12And there was a great deal of talk about Him in secret among the crowds: some were saying, 'He is a good man'; others were saying, 'No, on the contrary, He is misleading the people.'

10But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret. 11Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he? 12And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.

Some argued, 'He’s a good man,' but others said, 'He’s nothing but a fraud who deceives the people.'
