Chapter 15
17Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, captured it; so he gave him Achsah his daughter as a wife. 18And it happened that when she came to him, she incited him to ask her father for a field. So she dismounted from the donkey, and Caleb said to her, 'What do you want?' 19Then she said, 'Give me a blessing; since you have given me the land of the Negev, give me springs of water also.' So he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.
21Now the cities at the extremity of the tribe of the sons of Judah toward the border of Edom in the south were Kabzeel, Eder, and Jagur,
22Kinah, Dimonah, and Adadah,
23Kedesh, Hazor, and Ithnan,
24Ziph, Telem, and Bealoth,
25Hazor-hadattah, Kerioth-hezron (that is, Hazor),
26Amam, Shema, and Moladah,
27Hazar-gaddah, Heshmon, and Beth-pelet,
28Hazar-shual, Beersheba, and Biziothiah,
29Baalah, Iim, and Ezem,

19Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.
20This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.

As she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, "What can I do for you?" 19She replied, "Give me a blessing. Since you have given me land in the Negev, give me the springs also." So he gave her the upper and lower springs.
