Chapter 19
8and all the villages which were around these cities as far as Baalath-beer, Ramah of the Negev. This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon according to their families. 9The inheritance of the sons of Simeon was taken from the portion of the sons of Judah, because the share of the sons of Judah was too large for them; so the sons of Simeon received an inheritance in the midst of Judah’s inheritance.
10Now the third lot came up for the sons of Zebulun according to their families. And the territory of their inheritance was as far as Sarid.
11Then their border went up to the west and to Maralah, and it reached Dabbesheth and reached to the brook that is opposite Jokneam.
12Then it turned from Sarid to the east toward the sunrise as far as the border of Chisloth-tabor, and it proceeded to Daberath and up to Japhia.
13From there it continued eastward toward the sunrise to Gath-hepher, to Eth-kazin, and it proceeded to Rimmon which stretches to Neah.
14Then the border circled around it on the north to Hannathon, and it ended at the Valley of Iphtahel.
15Included also were Kattah, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem; twelve cities with their villages.
16This was the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.
17The fourth lot went to Issachar, to the sons of Issachar according to their families.
18Their territory was to Jezreel and included Chesulloth, Shunem,
19Hapharaim, Shion, and Anaharath,
20Rabbith, Kishion, and Ebez,
21Remeth, En-gannim, En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez.
22The border reached to Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth-shemesh, and their border ended at the Jordan; sixteen cities with their villages.
23This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Issachar according to their families, the cities with their villages.
24Now the fifth lot went to the tribe of the sons of Asher according to their families.
25Their territory was Helkath, Hali, Beten, and Achshaph,
26Allammelech, Amad, and Mishal; and it reached to Carmel on the west and Shihor-libnath.
27It turned toward the east to Beth-dagon and reached Zebulun, and to the Valley of Iphtahel northward to Beth-emek and Neiel; then it proceeded on north to Cabul,
28Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Great Sidon.
29The border turned to Ramah and to the fortified city of Tyre; then the border turned to Hosah, and it ended at the sea by the region of Achzib.
30Included also were Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob; twenty-two cities with their villages.
31This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.
32The sixth lot went to the sons of Naphtali; to the sons of Naphtali according to their families.
33Their border was from Heleph, from the oak in Zaanannim, and Adami-nekeb and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum, and it ended at the Jordan.
34Then the border turned westward to Aznoth-tabor and proceeded from there to Hukkok; and it reached Zebulun on the south and reached Asher on the west, and Judah at the Jordan toward the east.
35The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,
36Adamah, Ramah, and Hazor,
37Kedesh, Edrei, and En-hazor,

8and all the settlements surrounding these cities as far as Baalath-beer (Ramah in the south ). This was the inheritance of the tribe of Simeon’s descendants by their clans. 9The inheritance of Simeon’s descendants was within the territory of Judah’s descendants, because the share for Judah’s descendants was too large. So Simeon’s descendants received an inheritance within Judah’s portion.
10The third lot came up for Zebulun’s descendants by their clans. The territory of their inheritance stretched as far as Sarid;
11their border went up westward to Maralah, reached Dabbesheth, and met the brook east of Jokneam.
12From Sarid, it turned due east along the border of Chisloth-tabor, went to Daberath, and went up to Japhia.
13From there, it went due east to Gath-hepher and to Eth-kazin; it extended to Rimmon, curving around to Neah.
14The border then circled around Neah on the north to Hannathon and ended at Iphtah-el Valley,
15along with Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem—twelve cities, with their settlements.
18Their territory went to Jezreel, and included Chesulloth, Shunem,
19Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,
20Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,
21Remeth, En-gannim, En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez.
22The border reached Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth-shemesh, and ended at the Jordan—sixteen cities, with their settlements.
25Their boundary included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,
26Allammelech, Amad, and Mishal and reached westward to Carmel and Shihor-libnath.
27It turned eastward to Beth-dagon, reached Zebulun and Iphtah-el Valley, north toward Beth-emek and Neiel, and went north to Cabul,
28Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as greater Sidon.
29The boundary then turned to Ramah as far as the fortified city of Tyre; it turned back to Hosah and ended at the Mediterranean Sea, including Mahalab, Achzib,
30Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob—twenty-two cities, with their settlements.
33Their boundary went from Heleph and from the oak in Zaanannim, including Adami-nekeb and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum, and ended at the Jordan.
34To the west, the boundary turned to Aznoth-tabor and went from there to Hukkok, reaching Zebulun on the south, Asher on the west, and Judah at the Jordan on the east.
35The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,

8including all the surrounding villages as far south as Baalath-beer (also known as Ramah of the Negev). This was the homeland allocated to the clans of the tribe of Simeon. 9Their allocation of land came from part of what had been given to Judah because Judah’s territory was too large for them. So the tribe of Simeon received an allocation within the territory of Judah.
10The third allotment of land went to the clans of the tribe of Zebulun. The boundary of Zebulun’s homeland started at Sarid.
11From there it went west, going past Maralah, touching Dabbesheth, and proceeding to the brook east of Jokneam.
12In the other direction, the boundary went east from Sarid to the border of Kisloth-tabor, and from there to Daberath and up to Japhia.
13Then it continued east to Gath-hepher, Eth-kazin, and Rimmon and turned toward Neah.
14The northern boundary of Zebulun passed Hannathon and ended at the valley of Iphtah-el.
15The towns in these areas included Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem — twelve towns with their surrounding villages.
18Its boundaries included the following towns: Jezreel, Kesulloth, Shunem,

33Its boundary ran from Heleph, from the oak at Zaanannim, and extended across to Adami-nekeb, Jabneel, and as far as Lakkum, ending at the Jordan River.
34The western boundary ran past Aznoth-tabor, then to Hukkok, and touched the border of Zebulun in the south, the border of Asher on the west, and the Jordan River on the east.
35The fortified towns included in this territory were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,

28including Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon.
29And the border turned to Ramah and to the fortified city of Tyre; then the border turned to Hosah, and ended at the sea by the region of Achzib.
30Also Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob were included: twenty-two cities with their villages.
31This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.
32The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
33And their border began at Heleph, enclosing the territory from the terebinth tree in Zaanannim, Adami Nekeb, and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum; it ended at the Jordan.
34From Heleph the border extended westward to Aznoth Tabor, and went out from there toward Hukkok; it adjoined Zebulun on the south side and Asher on the west side, and ended at Judah by the Jordan toward the sunrise.
35And the fortified cities are Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,
