Chapter 10

13Yet you abandoned Me and served other gods; therefore I will no longer save you. 14Go and cry out to the gods which you have chosen; let them save you in the time of your distress.' 15Then the sons of Israel said to the Lord, 'We have sinned, do to us whatever seems good to You; only please save us this day.' 16So they removed the foreign gods from among them and served the Lord; and He could no longer endure the misery of Israel.
17Then the sons of Ammon were summoned, and they camped in Gilead. And the sons of Israel gathered together and camped in Mizpah.

13Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more. 14Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation. 15And the children of Israel said unto the Lord, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day. 16And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the Lord: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel. 17Then the children of Ammon were gathered together, and encamped in Gilead. And the children of Israel assembled themselves together, and encamped in Mizpeh.

Chapter 10

13But you have abandoned me and worshiped other gods. Therefore, I will not deliver you again. 14Go and cry out to the gods you have chosen. Let them deliver you whenever you are oppressed."
15But the Israelites said, "We have sinned. Deal with us as you see fit; only rescue us today!" 16So they got rid of the foreign gods among them and worshiped the Lord, and he became weary of Israel’s misery.
17The Ammonites were called together, and they camped in Gilead. So the Israelites assembled and camped at Mizpah.

13Yet you have abandoned me and served other gods. So I will not rescue you anymore. 14Go and cry out to the gods you have chosen! Let them rescue you in your hour of distress!'
15But the Israelites pleaded with the Lord and said, 'We have sinned. Punish us as you see fit, only rescue us today from our enemies.' 16Then the Israelites put aside their foreign gods and served the Lord. And he was grieved by their misery.
17At that time the armies of Ammon had gathered for war and were camped in Gilead, and the people of Israel assembled and camped at Mizpah.
