Leviticus 13:12-14
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 13
12
If the leprosy breaks out farther on the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of
the person who has
the infection from his head even to his feet, as far as the priest can see,
13
then the priest shall look, and behold,
if
the leprosy has covered his entire body, he shall pronounce
the one who has
the infection clean; it has all turned white
and
he is clean.
14
But whenever raw flesh appears on him, he shall be unclean.
King James Version
Chapter 13
12
And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh;
13
Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.
14
But when raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 13
12
But if the skin disease breaks out all over the skin so that it covers all the skin of the stricken person from his head to his feet so far as the priest can see,
13
the priest will look, and if the skin disease has covered his entire body, he is to pronounce the stricken person clean. Since he has turned totally white, he is clean.
14
But whenever raw flesh appears on him, he will be unclean.
New Living Translation
Chapter 13
12
Now suppose the disease has spread all over the person’s skin, covering the body from head to foot.
13
When the priest examines the infected person and finds that the disease covers the entire body, he will pronounce the person ceremonially clean. Since the skin has turned completely white, the person is clean.
14
But if any open sores appear, the infected person will be pronounced ceremonially unclean.
English Standard Version
Chapter 13
12
And if the leprous disease breaks out in the skin, so that the leprous disease covers all the skin of the diseased person from head to foot, so far as the priest can see,
13
then the priest shall look, and if the leprous disease has covered all his body, he shall pronounce him clean of the disease; it has all turned white, and he is clean.
14
But when raw flesh appears on him, he shall be unclean.
New International Version
Chapter 13
12
"If the disease breaks out all over their skin and, so far as the priest can see, it covers all the skin of the affected person from head to foot,
13
the priest is to examine them, and if the disease has covered their whole body, he shall pronounce them clean. Since it has all turned white, they are clean.
14
But whenever raw flesh appears on them, they will be unclean.
New King James Version
Chapter 13
12
“And if leprosy breaks out all over the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of the one who has the sore, from his head to his foot, wherever the priest looks,
13
then the priest shall consider; and indeed if the leprosy has covered all his body, he shall pronounce him clean who has the sore. It has all turned white. He is clean.
14
But when raw flesh appears on him, he shall be unclean.
