Chapter 13
43Then the priest shall look at him; and if the swelling of the infection is reddish-white on his bald head or on his bald forehead, like the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the body, 44he is a leprous man, he is unclean. The priest must pronounce him unclean; his infection is on his head.
45As for the person who has the leprous infection, his clothes shall be torn and the hair of his head shall be uncovered, and he shall cover his mustache and call out, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’
46He shall remain unclean all the days during which he has the infection; he is unclean. He shall live alone; he shall live outside the camp.
47When a garment has a mark of leprosy in it, whether it is a wool garment or a linen garment,
48whether in warp or woof, of linen or of wool, whether in leather or in any article made of leather,
49if the mark is greenish or reddish in the garment or in the leather, whether in the warp or in the woof, or in any article of leather, it is a leprous mark and it shall be shown to the priest.
50Then the priest shall look at the mark and shall quarantine the article with the mark for seven days.
51He shall then look at the mark on the seventh day; if the mark has spread in the garment, whether in the warp or in the woof, or in the leather, whatever the purpose for which the leather is used, the mark is a leprous malignancy, it is unclean.
52So he shall burn the garment, whether it is the warp or the woof, in wool or in linen, or any article of leather, in which the mark occurs; for it is a leprous malignancy. It shall be burned in the fire.
53But if the priest looks, and indeed the mark has not spread in the garment, either in the warp or in the woof, or in any article of leather,
54then the priest shall order them to wash the thing in which the mark occurs, and he shall quarantine it for seven more days.
55After the article with the mark has been washed, the priest shall again look, and if the mark has not changed its appearance, even if the mark has not spread, it is unclean; you shall burn it in the fire, whether an eating away has produced bareness on the back or on the front of it.

Chapter 13
43The priest is to examine him, and if the swelling of the condition on his bald head or forehead is reddish-white, like the appearance of a serious skin disease on his body, 44the man is afflicted with a serious skin disease; he is unclean. The priest must pronounce him unclean; the infection is on his head.
45"The person who has a case of serious skin disease is to have his clothes torn and his hair hanging loose, and he must cover his mouth and cry out, ‘Unclean, unclean!’
46He will remain unclean as long as he has the disease; he is unclean. He must live alone in a place outside the camp.
47"If a fabric is contaminated with mildew—in wool or linen fabric,
48in the warp or weft of linen or wool, or in leather or anything made of leather—
49and if the contamination is green or red in the fabric, the leather, the warp, the weft, or any leather article, it is a mildew contamination and is to be shown to the priest.
50The priest is to examine the contamination and quarantine the contaminated fabric for seven days.
51The priest is to reexamine the contamination on the seventh day. If it has spread in the fabric, the warp, the weft, or the leather, regardless of how it is used, the contamination is harmful mildew; it is unclean.
52He is to burn the fabric, the warp or weft in wool or linen, or any leather article, which is contaminated. Since it is harmful mildew it must be burned.
53"When the priest examines it, if the contamination has not spread in the fabric, the warp or weft, or any leather article,
54the priest is to order whatever is contaminated to be washed and quarantined for another seven days.
55After it has been washed, the priest is to reexamine the contamination. If the appearance of the contaminated article has not changed, it is unclean. Even though the contamination has not spread, you must burn the fabric. It is a fungus on the front or back of the fabric.

Chapter 13
43The priest must examine him, and if he finds swelling around the reddish white sore anywhere on the man’s head and it looks like a skin disease, 44the man is indeed infected with a skin disease and is unclean. The priest must pronounce him ceremonially unclean because of the sore on his head.
45Those who suffer from a serious skin disease must tear their clothing and leave their hair uncombed. They must cover their mouth and call out, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’
46As long as the serious disease lasts, they will be ceremonially unclean. They must live in isolation in their place outside the camp.
47Now suppose mildew contaminates some woolen or linen clothing,
48woolen or linen fabric, the hide of an animal, or anything made of leather.
49If the contaminated area in the clothing, the animal hide, the fabric, or the leather article has turned greenish or reddish, it is contaminated with mildew and must be shown to the priest.
50After examining the affected spot, the priest will put the article in quarantine for seven days.
51On the seventh day the priest must inspect it again. If the contaminated area has spread, the clothing or fabric or leather is clearly contaminated by a serious mildew and is ceremonially unclean.
52The priest must burn the item — the clothing, the woolen or linen fabric, or piece of leather — for it has been contaminated by a serious mildew. It must be completely destroyed by fire.
53But if the priest examines it and finds that the contaminated area has not spread in the clothing, the fabric, or the leather,
54the priest will order the object to be washed and then quarantined for seven more days.
55Then the priest must examine the object again. If he finds that the contaminated area has not changed color after being washed, even if it did not spread, the object is defiled. It must be completely burned up, whether the contaminated spot is on the inside or outside.

45"The leprous person who has the disease shall wear torn clothes and let the hair of his head hang loose, and he shall cover his upper lip and cry out, ‘Unclean, unclean.’
46He shall remain unclean as long as he has the disease. He is unclean. He shall live alone. His dwelling shall be outside the camp.

52And he shall burn the garment, or the warp or the woof, the wool or the linen, or any article made of skin that is diseased, for it is a persistent leprous disease. It shall be burned in the fire.
53"And if the priest examines, and if the disease has not spread in the garment, in the warp or the woof or in any article made of skin,
54then the priest shall command that they wash the thing in which is the disease, and he shall shut it up for another seven days.
55And the priest shall examine the diseased thing after it has been washed. And if the appearance of the diseased area has not changed, though the disease has not spread, it is unclean. You shall burn it in the fire, whether the rot is on the back or on the front.

43The priest is to examine him, and if the swollen sore on his head or forehead is reddish-white like a defiling skin disease, 44the man is diseased and is unclean. The priest shall pronounce him unclean because of the sore on his head.
45"Anyone with such a defiling disease must wear torn clothes, let their hair be unkempt, cover the lower part of their face and cry out, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’
46As long as they have the disease they remain unclean. They must live alone; they must live outside the camp.
47"As for any fabric that is spoiled with a defiling mold—any woolen or linen clothing,
48any woven or knitted material of linen or wool, any leather or anything made of leather—
49if the affected area in the fabric, the leather, the woven or knitted material, or any leather article, is greenish or reddish, it is a defiling mold and must be shown to the priest.
50The priest is to examine the affected area and isolate the article for seven days.
51On the seventh day he is to examine it, and if the mold has spread in the fabric, the woven or knitted material, or the leather, whatever its use, it is a persistent defiling mold; the article is unclean.
52He must burn the fabric, the woven or knitted material of wool or linen, or any leather article that has been spoiled; because the defiling mold is persistent, the article must be burned.
53"But if, when the priest examines it, the mold has not spread in the fabric, the woven or knitted material, or the leather article,
54he shall order that the spoiled article be washed. Then he is to isolate it for another seven days.
55After the article has been washed, the priest is to examine it again, and if the mold has not changed its appearance, even though it has not spread, it is unclean. Burn it, no matter which side of the fabric has been spoiled.

55Then the priest shall examine the plague after it has been washed; and indeed if the plague has not changed its color, though the plague has not spread, it is unclean, and you shall burn it in the fire; it continues eating away, whether the damage is outside or inside.
