Chapter 19
17‘You shall not hate your fellow countryman in your heart; you may certainly rebuke your neighbor, but you are not to incur sin because of him. 18You shall not take vengeance, nor hold any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord.
20‘Now if a man has sexual relations with a woman who is a slave acquired for another man, but who has in no way been redeemed nor given her freedom, there shall be punishment; they shall not, however, be put to death, because she was not free.
21He shall bring his guilt offering to the Lord to the doorway of the tent of meeting, a ram as a guilt offering.
22The priest shall also make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering before the Lord for his sin which he has committed, and the sin which he has committed will be forgiven him.
23‘Now when you enter the land and plant all kinds of trees for food, then you shall count their fruit as forbidden. For three years it shall be forbidden to you; it shall not be eaten.
24And in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, an offering of praise to the Lord.
25But in the fifth year you shall eat its fruit, so that its yield may increase for you; I am the Lord your God.
26‘You shall not eat any meat with the blood. You shall not practice divination nor soothsaying.
27You shall not round off the hairline of your heads, nor trim the edges of your beard.
28You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead, nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the Lord.
29‘Do not profane your daughter by making her a prostitute, so that the land does not fall into prostitution, and the land does not become full of outrageous sin.
30You shall keep My Sabbaths and revere My sanctuary; I am the Lord.

17Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. 18Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord. 19Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee. 20And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free. 21And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the Lord, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a trespass offering. 22And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the Lord for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him. 23And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of. 24But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the Lord withal. 25And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the Lord your God. 26Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times. 27Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. 28Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord. 29Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness. 30Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord. 31Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God. 32Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the Lord. 33And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. 34But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God. 35Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 19
17"Do not harbor hatred against your brother. Rebuke your neighbor directly, and you will not incur guilt because of him. 18Do not take revenge or bear a grudge against members of your community, but love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord.
20"If a man has sexual intercourse with a woman who is a slave designated for another man, but she has not been redeemed or given her freedom, there must be punishment. They are not to be put to death, because she had not been freed.
21However, he must bring a ram as his guilt offering to the Lord at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
22The priest will make atonement on his behalf before the Lord with the ram of the guilt offering for the sin he has committed, and he will be forgiven for the sin he committed.
23"When you come into the land and plant any kind of tree for food, you are to consider the fruit forbidden. It will be forbidden to you for three years; it is not to be eaten.
24In the fourth year all its fruit is to be consecrated as a praise offering to the Lord.
25But in the fifth year you may eat its fruit. In this way its yield will increase for you; I am the Lord your God.
26"You are not to eat anything with blood in it. You are not to practice divination or witchcraft.
27You are not to cut off the hair at the sides of your head or mar the edge of your beard.
28You are not to make gashes on your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves; I am the Lord.
29"Do not debase your daughter by making her a prostitute, or the land will be prostituted and filled with depravity.
30Keep my Sabbaths and revere my sanctuary; I am the Lord.
New Living Translation
20If a man has sex with a slave girl whose freedom has never been purchased but who is committed to become another man’s wife, he must pay full compensation to her master. But since she is not a free woman, neither the man nor the woman will be put to death.
21The man, however, must bring a ram as a guilt offering and present it to the Lord at the entrance of the Tabernacle.
22The priest will then purify him before the Lord with the ram of the guilt offering, and the man’s sin will be forgiven.
23When you enter the land and plant fruit trees, leave the fruit unharvested for the first three years and consider it forbidden. Do not eat it.
24In the fourth year the entire crop must be consecrated to the Lord as a celebration of praise.
25Finally, in the fifth year you may eat the fruit. If you follow this pattern, your harvest will increase. I am the Lord your God.
