Chapter 22

25nor shall you offer any of these animals taken from the hand of a foreigner as the food of your God; for their deformity is in them, they have an impairment. They will not be accepted for you.’?'
26Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 27When an ox or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall remain seven days with its mother, and from the eighth day on it will be considered acceptable as a sacrifice of an offering by fire to the Lord. 28But, whether it is an ox or a sheep, you shall not slaughter both it and its young in one day. 29When you sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord, you shall sacrifice it so that you may be accepted. 30It shall be eaten on the same day; you shall leave none of it until morning. I am the Lord. 31So you shall keep My commandments, and do them; I am the Lord.

25Neither from a stranger's hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be in them: they shall not be accepted for you.
26And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 27When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the Lord. 28And whether it be cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day. 29And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the Lord, offer it at your own will. 30On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the Lord.
31Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.

25Neither you nor a foreigner are to present food to your God from any of these animals. They will not be accepted for you because they are deformed and have a defect."
26The Lord spoke to Moses: 27"When an ox, sheep, or goat is born, it is to remain with its mother for seven days; from the eighth day on, it will be acceptable as an offering, a fire offering to the Lord. 28But you are not to slaughter an animal from the herd or flock on the same day as its young. 29When you sacrifice a thank offering to the Lord, sacrifice it so that you may be accepted. 30It is to be eaten on the same day. Do not let any of it remain until morning; I am the Lord.
31"You are to keep my commands and do them; I am the Lord.

Chapter 22

25and you must not accept such an animal from foreigners and then offer it as a sacrifice to your God. Such animals will not be accepted on your behalf, for they are mutilated or defective.'
26And the Lord said to Moses, 27When a calf or lamb or goat is born, it must be left with its mother for seven days. From the eighth day on, it will be acceptable as a special gift to the Lord. 28But you must not slaughter a mother animal and her offspring on the same day, whether from the herd or the flock. 29When you bring a thanksgiving offering to the Lord, sacrifice it properly so you will be accepted. 30Eat the entire sacrificial animal on the day it is presented. Do not leave any of it until the next morning. I am the Lord.
31You must faithfully keep all my commands by putting them into practice, for I am the Lord.
