Leviticus 26:9-23
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 26
9So I will turn toward you and make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will confirm My covenant with you. 10And you will eat the old supply, and clear out the old because of the new. 11Moreover, I will make My dwelling among you, and My soul will not reject you. 12I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people. 13I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt so that you would not be their slaves, and I broke your yoke and made you walk erect.
14‘But if you do not obey Me and do not carry out all these commandments,
15if, instead, you reject My statutes, and if your soul loathes My ordinances so as not to carry out all My commandments, but rather to break My covenant,
16I, in turn, will do this to you: I will summon a sudden terror against you, consumption and fever that will make the eyes fail and the soul languish; also, you will sow your seed uselessly, for your enemies will eat it.
17And I will set My face against you so that you will be defeated before your enemies; and those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee when no one is pursuing you.
18If also after these things you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
19I will also break down your pride of power; and I will make your sky like iron and your earth like bronze.
20Your strength will be consumed uselessly, for your land will not yield its produce and the trees of the land will not yield their fruit.
21‘Yet if you show hostility toward Me and are unwilling to obey Me, I will increase the plague on you seven times according to your sins.
22I will also let loose among you the animals of the field, which will deprive you of your children and eliminate your cattle, and reduce your number so that your roads become deserted.
King James Version
Chapter 26
9For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you. 10And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.
11And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.
12And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.
13I am the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.
14But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;
15And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:
16I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
17And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.
18And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
19And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:
20And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.
21And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
22I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.

Chapter 26
9"I will turn to you, make you fruitful and multiply you, and confirm my covenant with you. 10You will eat the old grain of the previous year and will clear out the old to make room for the new. 11I will place my residence among you, and I will not reject you. 12I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people. 13I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, so that you would no longer be their slaves. I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to live in freedom.
14"But if you do not obey me and observe all these commands—
15if you reject my statutes and despise my ordinances, and do not observe all my commands—and break my covenant,
16then I will do this to you: I will bring terror on you—wasting disease and fever that will cause your eyes to fail and your life to ebb away. You will sow your seed in vain because your enemies will eat it.
17I will turn against you, so that you will be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee even though no one is pursuing you.
18"But if after these things you will not obey me, I will proceed to discipline you seven times for your sins.
19I will break down your strong pride. I will make your sky like iron and your land like bronze,
20and your strength will be used up for nothing. Your land will not yield its produce, and the trees of the land will not bear their fruit.
New Living Translation
Chapter 26
9I will look favorably upon you, making you fertile and multiplying your people. And I will fulfill my covenant with you. 10You will have such a surplus of crops that you will need to clear out the old grain to make room for the new harvest! 11I will live among you, and I will not despise you. 12I will walk among you; I will be your God, and you will be my people. 13I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt so you would no longer be their slaves. I broke the yoke of slavery from your neck so you can walk with your heads held high.
14However, if you do not listen to me or obey all these commands,
15and if you break my covenant by rejecting my decrees, treating my regulations with contempt, and refusing to obey my commands,
16I will punish you. I will bring sudden terrors upon you — wasting diseases and burning fevers that will cause your eyes to fail and your life to ebb away. You will plant your crops in vain because your enemies will eat them.
17I will turn against you, and you will be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you will rule over you, and you will run even when no one is chasing you!
18And if, in spite of all this, you still disobey me, I will punish you seven times over for your sins.
19I will break your proud spirit by making the skies as unyielding as iron and the earth as hard as bronze.
20All your work will be for nothing, for your land will yield no crops, and your trees will bear no fruit.

Chapter 26
9I will turn to you and make you fruitful and multiply you and will confirm my covenant with you. 10You shall eat old store long kept, and you shall clear out the old to make way for the new. 11I will make my dwelling among you, and my soul shall not abhor you. 12And I will walk among you and will be your God, and you shall be my people. 13I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves. And I have broken the bars of your yoke and made you walk erect.
14"But if you will not listen to me and will not do all these commandments,
15if you spurn my statutes, and if your soul abhors my rules, so that you will not do all my commandments, but break my covenant,
16then I will do this to you: I will visit you with panic, with wasting disease and fever that consume the eyes and make the heart ache. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
17I will set my face against you, and you shall be struck down before your enemies. Those who hate you shall rule over you, and you shall flee when none pursues you.
18And if in spite of this you will not listen to me, then I will discipline you again sevenfold for your sins,
19and I will break the pride of your power, and I will make your heavens like iron and your earth like bronze.
20And your strength shall be spent in vain, for your land shall not yield its increase, and the trees of the land shall not yield their fruit.
21"Then if you walk contrary to me and will not listen to me, I will continue striking you, sevenfold for your sins.
22And I will let loose the wild beasts against you, which shall bereave you of your children and destroy your livestock and make you few in number, so that your roads shall be deserted.

Chapter 26
9" ‘I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you. 10You will still be eating last year’s harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new. 11I will put my dwelling place among you, and I will not abhor you. 12I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people. 13I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with heads held high.
14" ‘But if you will not listen to me and carry out all these commands,
15and if you reject my decrees and abhor my laws and fail to carry out all my commands and so violate my covenant,
16then I will do this to you: I will bring on you sudden terror, wasting diseases and fever that will destroy your sight and sap your strength. You will plant seed in vain, because your enemies will eat it.
17I will set my face against you so that you will be defeated by your enemies; those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee even when no one is pursuing you.
18" ‘If after all this you will not listen to me, I will punish you for your sins seven times over.
19I will break down your stubborn pride and make the sky above you like iron and the ground beneath you like bronze.
20Your strength will be spent in vain, because your soil will not yield its crops, nor will the trees of your land yield their fruit.
21" ‘If you remain hostile toward me and refuse to listen to me, I will multiply your afflictions seven times over, as your sins deserve.
22I will send wild animals against you, and they will rob you of your children, destroy your cattle and make you so few in number that your roads will be deserted.
