Chapter 27
10He shall not replace it nor exchange it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good; yet if he does exchange animal for animal, then both it and its substitute shall become holy. 11If, however, it is any unclean animal of the kind which one does not present as an offering to the Lord, then he shall place the animal before the priest. 12And the priest shall assess it as either good or bad; as you, the priest, assess it, so shall it be. 13But if he should ever want to redeem it, then he shall add a fifth of it to your assessment.
14‘Now if someone consecrates his house as holy to the Lord, then the priest shall assess it as either good or bad; as the priest assesses it, so shall it stand.
15Yet if the one who consecrates it should want to redeem his house, then he shall add a fifth of your assessment price to it, so that it may be his.
16‘Again, if someone consecrates to the Lord part of the field of his own property, then your assessment shall be proportionate to the seed needed for it: a homer of barley seed at fifty shekels of silver.
17If he consecrates his field as of the year of jubilee, according to your assessment it shall stand.
18If he consecrates his field after the jubilee, however, then the priest shall calculate the price for him proportionate to the years that are left until the year of jubilee; and it shall be deducted from your assessment.
19If the one who consecrates it should ever want to redeem the field, then he shall add a fifth of your assessment price to it, so that it may belong to him.

11"If the vow involves any of the unclean animals that may not be brought as an offering to the Lord, the animal must be presented before the priest.
12The priest will set its value, whether high or low; the price will be set as the priest makes the assessment for you.
13If the one who brought it decides to redeem it, he must add a fifth to the assessed value.
14"When a man consecrates his house as holy to the Lord, the priest will assess its value, whether high or low. The price will stand just as the priest assesses it.
15But if the one who consecrated his house redeems it, he must add a fifth to the assessed value, and it will be his.
16"If a man consecrates to the Lord any part of a field that he possesses, your assessment of value will be proportional to the seed needed to sow it, at the rate of fifty silver shekels for every five bushels of barley seed.
17If he consecrates his field during the Year of Jubilee, the price will stand according to your assessment.
18But if he consecrates his field after the Jubilee, the priest will calculate the price for him in proportion to the years left until the next Year of Jubilee, so that your assessment will be reduced.
19If the one who consecrated the field decides to redeem it, he must add a fifth to the assessed value, and the field will transfer back to him.

Chapter 27
10You may not exchange or substitute it for another animal — neither a good animal for a bad one nor a bad animal for a good one. But if you do exchange one animal for another, then both the original animal and its substitute will be considered holy. 11If your vow involves an unclean animal — one that is not acceptable as an offering to the Lord — then you must bring the animal to the priest. 12He will assess its value, and his assessment will be final, whether high or low. 13If you want to buy back the animal, you must pay the value set by the priest, plus 20 percent.
14If someone dedicates a house to the Lord, the priest will come to assess its value. The priest’s assessment will be final, whether high or low.
15If the person who dedicated the house wants to buy it back, he must pay the value set by the priest, plus 20 percent. Then the house will again be his.
16If someone dedicates to the Lord a piece of his family property, its value will be assessed according to the amount of seed required to plant it — fifty shekels of silver for a field planted with five bushels of barley seed.
17If the field is dedicated to the Lord in the Year of Jubilee, then the entire assessment will apply.
18But if the field is dedicated after the Year of Jubilee, the priest will assess the land’s value in proportion to the number of years left until the next Year of Jubilee. Its assessed value is reduced each year.
19If the person who dedicated the field wants to buy it back, he must pay the value set by the priest, plus 20 percent. Then the field will again be legally his.

Whatever value the priest then sets, that is what it will be. 13If the owner wishes to redeem the animal, a fifth must be added to its value.
14" ‘If anyone dedicates their house as something holy to the Lord, the priest will judge its quality as good or bad. Whatever value the priest then sets, so it will remain.
